Testautomation Tester (m/w) Festanstellung

A client of ours based in Hamburg  is looking for a Testautomation Tester in the eCommerce Industry.

YOUR TASKS:

• Manage and prioritize bug reports or bug tickets from internal and external stakeholders, always keeping their business value in mind
• Report bugs and reproduce them through the complete bug cycle
• Performing manual tests and providing final approval prior to release
• Implementation of automated tests on business critical API’s for the company
• Coordinate testing efforts to ensure the delivery of quality features
• Advocate for product quality within a cross-functional development team
• Contribute the  long-term automatic frontend and backend testing strategy

SKILLS:

• You have minimum 2 years experience in quality assurance, functional testing and debugging of frontend applications (JavaScript) and backend API’s (PHP) in big scale projects
• You are experienced in manual testing (explorative and destructive) as well as in automated testing (e.g. with Nightwatch, Codeception or Cypress.io)
• You are able to get a quick grasp of complex technical systems
• You focus on the details but always keep the business value of software in mind
• You are experienced with agile methodologies and understand what it means to have a quality mindset in an agile environment
• You possess very good communications skills and the ability to handle different stakeholders
• Fluent in German / Fließend in Deutsch
